Fund BEAUTIFUL ME program for cancer survivors and their families.Dove Cancer Support

BEAUTIFUL ME is designed to help clients deal with the emotional, psychological and physical impacts of the cancer diagnosis, initial and long-term treatment.  The program will provide the survivors of cancer access to emotional and nutritional counseling and help them adjust to this new aspect of thier lives.  In addtion, clients will also have access to a full range of salon and spa services that many of them are not able to afford because of the high cost of cancer treatments.  These services will include but are not limited to: wigs and hair weaves, mineral and steam baths, body wraps, make-overs, and manicure and pedicures. The staff of Dove Cancer Support knows first-hand the positive and healing impact of these services and how helping clients look and feel better creates positive health outcomes during their treatments. In short, BEAUTIFUL ME seeks to assist in the healing process, outside in and inside out.
