Overview
The CubeSpawn project is about building personal factories. Putting the capability to make things in a community is the first step toward independence, it permits local level recycling, local level design, and goods produced at the cost of materials. It is not intended to replace the industrial centers of manufacturing, simply put the tools to make complex products into more individual hands. One significant difference between this approach and regular machines is that the machines will be designed to make their own parts. The machine designs will be distributed for free (open source) online and automation will allow even less technically inclined people to operate and build the machines. The ability to make your own goods for the local community embodies the principle of "wealth without money"
