Overview
Families apply for assistance in June by presenting a letter of referral to show proof of income and need.
Children of qualifying families are sized carefully and given an appointment to return in August.
In August, we set up a "store" and invite the children, with the help of a volunteer, to shop for :
- 2 pairs of pants
- 2 shirts
- a new pair of athletic shoes
- socks
- and underwear.
