Overview

We would like to utilize existing facilities owned by the City of Brush Recreational Dept and develop a multipurpose field for baseball, soccer and softball, while also integrating walking trails and update an existing fishing pond for Brush and surrounding communities.

We would like to promote health and wellness with these facilities so that area youth, adults and seniors would be able to exercise, get involved with team sports along with leisure activities in order to lead a healthy lifestyle.

This project has been an idea from the City and the school district for many years, one reason being that it would benefit students by providing a location for girls high school soccer team.  Residents utilize the current facility, however it is not up to date and does not have regulation fields, only backstops.

The idea is to benefit all residents and surrounding communities, while boosting morale for the low socio-economic residents in the location of the field.

How will the 250K be Used?

Budget Notes: The budget does not include water taps, laying of sod, labor, park shelters, site furnishings, park elements and signage.
