Create a safe space for children in shelters to learn and grow.Bright Horizons Foundation for Children

There are currently over one million homeless children in America today, and that number continues to rise.  The Bright Horizons Foundation for Children works to create a bright spot in the lives of these children, youth and families in crisis.  They do this through creating a special place for children in community agencies where they can go and feel like a child again.  These spaces are filled with toys, educational games, listening centers, arts and crafts supplies and play areas.  The Bright Horizons centers in the area are working together to raise money to create more of these Bright Spaces in Seattle, Bellevue and the surrounding area.  Our fundraising efforts will be culminated in our Walk-On in May, where everyone will come together and walk to support these children's needs.
