COMPONENTS OF THE BDG PROGRAM
BDG CD – character building songs that use Hip Hop to deliver a positive message
BDG Textbook – directly correlates its lessons to the CD
A curriculum– detailed lesson plans for each day of week
An instructional DVD, class material and an interactive website for students and teachers in the program

Building A Foundation, Perception, Patience, Excuses, The Company You Keep, Drug Abuse, Peer Pressure, Anger, Bullying, Gang Violence, Self Determination, Self Respect, Self Love, HIV Prevention and Coping with Death
The textbook is designed to capture the attention of students. It includes short stories and questions to engage students. The textbook has 12 chapters that focus on 12 character traits. Each chapter also contains an overview which explains the character trait, the solution which provides a blueprint of how to apply the character trait and a story that provides a real life example
