Overview
Our Deco: Now & Then is a charitable fashion show, focusing on providing scholarships to MCCSC, "Monroe County Community School Corporation," students to continue their pursuit of using art as an instrument of self expression , all while enhancing their skill. Monroe County is experiencing hard economic times. To compensate, MCCSC is cutting back on academic and extracurricular activities. Our main concern is supporting young talented artists by providing an opportunity to utilize art education.
The Pepsi Refresh Grant will contribute towards the fashion show and scholarship funds for young artist to pursue their academic goals. In addition, it will help support the Arts in Monroe County Community Schools.
Our Deco charity fashion show will display community and student fashion designers and over 20 local boutiques in Bloomington, Indiana at an Art Museum. We strive to make a difference and refresh art education in Monroe County.
