The American Cancer Society’s Hope Lodge will receive a $100,000 grant donation for much needed room renovations care of Drew Brees, the official winner of the Pepsi Refresh Project’s NFL challenge.

Over half a million fans cast their votes for the New Orleans Saints QB’s good idea, eclipsing his two competitors: New York Jets quarter back Mark Sanchez and the Dallas Cowboy’s DeMarcus Ware.  But unlike the outcome of this weekend’s Super Bowl game, everyone here turned out to be a winner. Pepsi will donate $25,000 respectively to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and Jonathan’s Place on behalf of Sanchez and Ware.
