Overview

The local food movement is burgeoning, and this summer provides a uniqe and timely opportunity to understand and document it – city-to-city across the US, via potlucks.

We're two invigorated, food-minded friends spending 100 days biking across America, holding 12 or more community potlucks along the way. Like journalists, we’ll ask questions, listen, and learn about the local food movement, with an ultimate purpose of spreading ideas and inspiration through conversation and personal story sharing.

We feel that the best way to understand the local food movement is by listening to stories and hearing perspectives of individuals in communities across the US. And the way we'll share what we learn is through:

(1) an interactive and content-rich blog and website

(2) a compelling self-published book  of beautiful photos, anecdotes, lessons, and recipes from our trip.

Join us, won’t you?
