Build a recycling facility in AL to employ adults with disabilities.The Arc of Madison County

The Arc would like to acquire or build a facility that will expand our community recycle program to employ individuals with disabilities. Our organization currently has a waiting list for recycle service as we do not have the space to employ individuals needed to keep up with product sorting.
Before our recycle program started, many companies threw away their recycle products. Our organization is now collecting paper, plastic, cans and metal at over 150 businesses, schools, and churches throughout our community. We have been able to save thousands of pounds of recycle product. With your help, we can do even more!
The additional facility space will also allow the Arc to start an in-house shredding program. This program will help the Arc secure Government Contracts and employ additional people from our community waiting list.
