Project Plan Overview:
Our Project taps into a pool of proven and tested natural leaders who will foster positive change in communities.  With $50,000 we will be able to support thousands of AmeriCorps alums working with community and neighborhood organizations. Our chapter model promotes cooperation between local nonprofits, community volunteers and alumni leaders to address the challenges of the 21st century.  It will help us to create a national network of national service alumni who play key roles in shaping the world's collective action to end poverty, preserve the environment, and to provide quality education for all.

Deliverables:

• Mobilize 5000 AmeriCorps members, alumni and volunteers in communities across the nation
• Engage 1500 AmeriCorps alum leaders in service projects and community development events
• Equip 25 AmeriCorps Alums chapters with skilled AmeriCorps alum leaders and resources
