Overview

The "Atmospheric Molecular Engine" (AME) utilizes the overly abundant energy provided by the sun to produce commercially viable energy without the need for direct sunlight.  Traditional alternative energy has been largely focused on taking only a small portion of the electromagnetic wavelength (visible light) or by-products of insolation (wind) and converting that into electricity; AME operates independently from this by using atmospheric pressure instead. AME’s patent applied design creates a preferential direction for gas molecules to move, generating a pressure difference to perform work. The physics has been validated by several physicists, does not require any experimental technology to be developed (uses proven manufacturing methods) so it can be ready to demonstrate within one year. An engine that uses only air molecules could mean sustainable energy for America.

Deliverables:

  1. 2 Prototypes of AME technology to demonstrate electricity generation within 5 months

How will the 250K be Used?

Budget Notes: Where we can save money by negotiating prices further down from our original quotes, we will roll back into making more partitions for prototype testing.
$ 130,750 Manufacturing substrates
$ 52,500 Manufacturing 3 outer shells for AME
$ 12,800 Purchase of laminar hood workstation (manual assembly)
$ 5,995 Rental of clean room facilities and electron microscope
$ 15,250 Purchase and modification of 40KW electric generator
$ 8,000 Ultra thin-film-coating and dicing
$ 1,000 Class 10 delivery cases for partition shipping
$ 23,705 Purchase and modification of hybrid vehicle
