Overview
All-ages Movement Project (AMP) is ready to release In Every Town: An All-Ages Music Manualfesto and take it on the road.
In Every Town is a resource book covering the history and “how-to” of starting and sustaining youth music programs in different locales. It includes lessons from the nation’s best known all-ages venues and youth music programs, concrete advice, and a soundtrack from renowned musicians.
Following the release of the book, AMP will host six regional gatherings in to support training, networking, and resource sharing for young people with an interest in making all-ages music happen in their towns.
Regional events will be held in Washington, California, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Alabama, and Colorado in conjunction with local all-ages organizations. Each gathering will aim to reach 300 attendees. Nationally the gatherings will support at least 100 all-ages music projects from diverse communities and music scenes.
