Overview

The "Teen Center Project" is the renovation of an 8,000 sq ft facility into a 13,000 sq ft Teen Center that provides programs & services in support of academic achievement, youth employment & career planning and leadership development for all teens including those considered at-risk and under-resourced. This community-wide project inspires and builds brighter futures for teens today and for generations to come by providing programs & services that teens want and need – all in a safe and supportive environment. Teens call the new Center "The AMP" - their "Aspirations Made Possible".

Deliverables:

1 Renovate building into a 13,000 sq ft Teen Center
2 Obtain LEED® Gold certification to show our commitment to the environment
3 Double the number of teens served - from 2,500 to 5,000
4 Partner with at least 4 local agencies and develop 6 new teen programs
5 Strengthen the fabric of our community through collaborations with businesses, organizations and service providers

How will the 250K be Used?

Budget Notes: The total Project Budget for the new Teen Center - including permits/fees, construction/renovation costs, program development and endowment, etc. - is $8,000,000.
