The Safe & Healthier Communities Project utilizes the spirit of volunteer service along with the expertise of child advocates & safety experts in order to provide empowerment materials to families. The SuperBook of Family Safety & DVD teaches the "ABC's of Safety", the 10 psychological deceptions that criminal predators use on their intended victims. The materials are presented in a family freindly empowering way so that children & adults become more aware & readily able to recognize danger.  The SuperSafety materials define "stranger" as a person that behaves strangely, not just someone who is unknown. The materials also foster good citizenship and volunteer service because all who receive the set are asked to share the info with others. DELIVERABLES: Distribution of 100,000 free Book/DVD combos to schools in the Baltimore/Washington/Virginia area; 144 distibrution volunteers; Press releases
