Overview
The Shades of Beauty Empowerment Through Inspiration tour is a youth development event designed to address the self-esteem and body image issues experienced by today’s teen girls and to promote a spirit of self-valuation, self-love and empowerment. Women from the entertainment, health, sport and corporate industries will participate in a candid exchange of dialogue with the girls. The tour is executed as a full day summit, inclusive of performances and interactive booths. The tour will launch during the summer of 2010 in N.Y. and conclude in L.A. The following will be achieved:
♥Girls will leave with an understanding of healthy vs. unhealthy self-esteem and body image
♥Girls will learn how to improve their self-esteem and body image by changing negative thoughts into positive ones
♥Girls will learn how to build and project confidence
♥Girls will learn how to foster healthy self-esteem and will leave feeling better about themselves
