Our vets bring home skills and work ethic yet unemployment rate is high just when we need the "Vet Effect," the positive impact of vets on a workforce.
The "Refresh Every Vet" project combines employers, schools and new media to create multi-platform modules on biggest needs of military families (jobs, schooling, healthy home life), resulting in vets learning how to lead successful civilian lives, employers eager to hire them, schools eager to enroll them.
Deliverables:
-min 5 college nat'l contest w/ $25K prize for best widgets/phone apps for 20 "how-to" modules
-100 media man hrs to create 50 videos/apps library
-$100K sponsor of library avail 24/7 on all platforms--computer, tv, phone, billboards-- all vet-friendly orgs, all social networks, total 2 mill reach
-Real-time wkly live discussion w/ Q&A b'cast across-platform, building to 100K audience each
-100 employers, 100 schools, 100 churches enroll in Refresh Our Vet
