Overview

This project aims to develop a community garden that will turn a dusty lot into a space for many to use. A site, which hosts an advertising billboard, at the corner of a highly visible intersection along Seventh Avenue will be redeveloped into a sustainable garden with multi-use space. It will allow for the expansion of local art installations as well as a shaded open space and much needed parking for neighborhood visitors. The design team will re-purpose existing structures to create a new urban space as well as develop a master plan that supports green sustainable gardening, which will include a rain catch system and eco-friendly gardening practices, such as composting and chemical free beds. With your help this project will move forward with its efforts. This local garden will allow both business owner and community resident to put their hands together to improve their neighborhood. We are ready to roll up our sleeves and get dirty! Video - www.youtube.com/M7CurveProject
