Overview

Place It is an urban planning game that every one can play to solve the largest to the smallest urban problems using recycled household objects. Place It includes interactive models and workshops. Interactive models allows participants to move object over an urban plot of a city. Through a one hour interactive workshop, participants use their creative thinking and recycled materials to design a solution to a problem that they later share with the group. This excercise develops people's critical thinking skills about the environment around them, thus creating a new generation of citizens who can make well informed urban planning decisions. Deliverables: 5 exhibitions of interactive models in various cities attracting 100s of people 20 workshops targeting high schools, universities, community based organizations, and local governments.

How will the 25K be Used?

Budget Notes: The budget will not cover my time to facilitate the meeting. This project will be onging so the materials will be used indefinately.
