Overview
The 1861 historic Davis-Shai House provides a snapshot into the era of the Ohio & Erie Canal. Without "Completing the Dream" & building "Legacy Gardens" for the Community, this gem of local history will never be fully enjoyed by upcoming generations. The local contractor who shares the passion for "Completing the Dream" will help volunteers finish the currently unfunded parts of the Davis-Shai House expansion project. A local nursery will help volunteers construct the "Legacy Gardens." These gardens, in view of the Hopewell Indian Road, will allow people to reflect on the many facets of the area's historic significance.
