- On average, DREAM Fund gifts a minimum of $100,000 to individuals.

Overview
The DREAM Fund project will help create awareness of the fund and the simplicity and availability to those in need. This project will help to raise awareness within the Southwest Region, so that Human Resource directors and employees will have knowledge of how to receive help.
We have held hands at hospitals, paid for burial expenses, covered breast cancer and bone marrow treatments, covered household/medical bills after the death of a spouse, remodeled a home after our recipient was paralyzed in a biking accident, helped refurnish homes after fires, equipped a van after a diving accident left our recipient paralyzed...have been available to MEET NEEDS! After Hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans, we were one of the first to respond...gifting over $150,000 to colleagues in New Orleans, overnight. The check from DREAM Fund, was the first check many evacuees received. We want to be able to continue to help, to continue assisting people in reaching their DREAMS.

| Budget Notes: This grant will go directly back to recipients in need. This grant will not cover any operating expenses. With the exception of one part-time Director of Development, DREAM Fund is an all volunteer organization. | |
