513Connect will provide a one-stop web site for citizens to identify their elected officials at all levels of government. If a citizen wishes to find all the individuals that represent them in government, they need to visit a separate web site for their State, Federal, and County officials. This does not include the countless school boards, municipal and judicial elected officials that cross multiple jurisdictions. These elected officials are often forgotten by the public and ignored during the election process because they appear at the bottom of the ballot. By identifying these officials, citizens will be more informed of who represents them down-ballot and thus be able to make a more informed decision about who should represent them on important local issues. Our goal is to become the largest, fastest-growing and most popular general reference work currently available on the Internet for the news media and citizens to identify elected officials at all levels of government.
